Let’s say there’s someone important who you’d like to meet with, or take to lunch, but they won’t take the time to schedule this meeting with you.

They’re busy, but you know they need to eat sometime, and with this in mind, consider doing the following…

Tell them that you’d like to pay to have lunch catered inside of their office for the two of you.

This will likely surprise them, showing them that you’re a total class act who is willing to do this, as they’ve probably never experienced another commercial real estate broker offering to do this for them.

And successful business people like to work with brokers who they believe to be a total class act!

In addition, if you’re not willing to spend the money to have the lunch catered, then offer to buy lunch for the two of you from a nice, local restaurant, and then bring the lunch into their office.

This latter approach won’t have the same total impact as you having the lunch catered, but it’s a good step in the right direction, it shows that you’re willing to work within their busy schedule to meet with them, and with you paying for the lunch and bringing it in, it shows them that you’re willing to go the extra mile, and that you really care about taking care of your clients.

So if there’s someone you’ve been wanting to meet with who hasn’t yet agreed to take your meeting, consider implementing this approach, and then watch how it works for you.
