One of the most important skills that you could ever learn, is how to stand out to your clients and prospects as being the best broker they could ever want to work with. There are a number of different activities that you’ll want to master in order to accomplish this, but right now I’m going to focus on just one simple aspect, that can help you to stand out more effectively to your clients prospects over your competitors.

When you’re a commercial real estate broker, it’s important to get face-to-face time with your prospects, because doing so will help take your relationship with them to the next level. So with this in mind, ideally you’ll want to schedule face-to-face meetings with your clients and prospects in person, whenever it’s appropriate. But how do you create that “face-to-face time” feeling with people, when they either don’t want to meet with you right now, or they’re simply so far away from doing their next transaction, that meeting with them in person right now might not be warranted?

With this in mind, there’s this service called Loom that allows you to quickly and easily record and send people videos, and you could send your people a short follow-up video, showing you talking to them “face-to-face”, when sending them the follow-up information that you told them you’d be sending them during your telephone conversation.

Take a look at the 2-minute video on their home page, and you’ll discover how you can include a video of you talking to your email recipients, while they’re looking at the information that you’re sending them.

So when incorporating this into your business, while your competitors will be relying mostly on having phone conversations and leaving voicemail messages for your prospects over time, and sending them blast emails, you on the other hand will be building better relationships with your people, as they continually watch and listen to these short videos that you’re sending them.

In addition, you could even send a short video of yourself to someone when they haven’t been responding back to you, as an even more personal approach to try to get them to respond.

You could also, for example, include a link to see a short 15-30 second video from you, highlighting what’s been going on within your market, or highlighting any new listings or important information that you may have, whenever you send a blast email out to everyone in your database.

So once again, people will be watching these short videos of you continually over time, whenever you send an email out to your entire database, and this will now help all of your clients and prospects to feel that they now know you even better, when compared to your competitors, who will just be relying on sending out their normal blast emails, without adding this additional personal touch.

So utilizing a service like this now gives you the ability to enhance your image within your marketplace, so you stand out even better, above and beyond your competitors.
